Our Spectra Precision GL612N single-slope laser level provides automatic horizontal and vertical self-levelling, with digital grade control on the Y-axis. It establishes level and sloping references for excavation, drainage, concrete preparation and construction alignment.

Spectra GL612N Grade Control and Specifications

This single slope laser provides a compensated grade range from −25% to +25%. Enter the required gradient through the menu to establish a reference for ramp construction, driveway falls or drainage work.

Key specifications include:

• Levelling accuracy: ±0.5mm at 10m.
• Grade accuracy: ±1.0mm at 10m.
• Working diameter: approximately 800m with a receiver.
• Self-levelling range: approximately ±14°.
• Rotation speeds: 300, 600 and 750rpm.
• Environmental protection: IP67-rated housing.

The 800m working diameter corresponds to a radius of approximately 400m from the instrument. Vertical self-levelling also supports building axis alignment, anchor bolt alignment and 90° layout.

GL612N with HL760 Grade Match and PlaneLok

The HL760 shows the distance above or below the on-grade position in millimetres. Fit the receiver to a suitable levelling staff for comparing elevations or establishing reference points across the site.

Automatic Grade Match measures an existing slope between two known elevation points on the Y-axis. The measured gradient appears on the laser and remote displays, making it useful when matching an existing driveway or surface.

PlaneLok continuously adjusts the beam to the receiver’s fixed reference position, helping maintain horizontal elevation or vertical alignment. The receiver remains secured at that reference point while the function is in use.

Fingerprinting enables the paired receiver to recognise the instrument’s beam and reject signals from other lasers working nearby.

Spectra GL612N Remote Control and Site Use

The RC602N radio remote operates from up to 150m and repeats the menu shown on the instrument. You can change grades and control laser functions from your working position, reducing trips back to the transmitter during setup.

An adjustable vibration filter helps manage the effects of wind and site vibration, including when the laser is mounted on a tall tripod. Automatic temperature compensation helps account for temperature changes during operation.

The rechargeable NiMH battery provides approximately 35 hours of operation. Mask mode allows selected beam sectors to be switched off, helping limit interference with other crews working nearby.
