Our Spectra Precision GL710 single-slope laser level provides a self-levelled reference for grading, site preparation, trenching and pipe-laying. Its Y-axis grade control allows you to enter a slope from −0.5% to +25%, while automatic levelling helps maintain the selected reference during setup.
We supply this Spectra grade laser with an HL700 digital readout receiver and rechargeable power pack. Spectra GL710 Grade Control and Specifications
The GL710 is designed for single-slope work on the Y-axis. Its compensated range covers shallow falls through to steeper grades used in ramps, drainage and excavation.

The long operating diameter supports work over large sites from one instrument position. Use horizontal grade references for site preparation, concrete and earthworks, or align the laser vertically where the application requires a vertical reference.
GL710 HL700 Receiver for Elevation Checks
The supplied HL700 receiver provides a numerical elevation readout in millimetres, centimetres, feet, inches and fractional inches. Front and rear displays, proportional arrows and adjustable audible signals help you locate the on-grade position from either side of the receiver.
The HL700 provides several deadband settings, including ultra-fine, super-fine, fine, medium and coarse, so you can match the display response to the tolerance of your work. Its anti-strobe filter helps prevent false readings from jobsite LED lights.
Attach the receiver to a compatible levelling staff when checking elevations across foundations, concrete forms, trenches, driveways or drainage runs.
Spectra GL710 Rechargeable Kit and Site Setup
The GL710’s rechargeable NiMH battery pack supports extended operation between charges. The GL700 series package includes the laser, receiver, charger, rechargeable batteries, laser card, operating manual and a rugged waterproof carrying case.
Active temperature compensation helps maintain the reference as site temperatures change. The protective lens hood and sealed aluminium housing support operation in wet and dusty conditions. The GL700 series also includes an automatic off-grade sensor to warn you if the instrument is no longer correctly positioned.
