Elcometer has developed a viscous gel to work on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.
The temperature range for regular couplant is -15 to 104°C (5 to 220°F). The Elcometer high temperature gel has a range of up to 398°C (750°F) for use with high temperature transducers.
