FD-12GR

Our Fukuda FD-12GR receiver helps you locate the beam from a compatible green or red line laser with a pulse function. It provides a detection reference when positioning the laser line by eye is difficult, supporting level transfer and setting-out work.

This red and green line laser receiver offers fine and coarse detection settings to suit different tolerances. Its LCD provides beam-position indications as you move through the laser line. Browse our laser level receivers to compare detection options for your equipment.

Fukuda FD-12GR Pulse Compatibility and Detection Settings

The Fukuda FD-12GR receiver requires a line laser with a compatible pulse function. Activate this mode on the transmitter before taking readings so the receiver can detect the pulsed beam. Both green and red line laser compatibility are specified for this model.

Fine detection provides an accuracy band of ±1mm, while coarse detection provides ±5mm. Select the narrower band for closer level checks, or the wider band when the task allows a larger tolerance. These figures describe the receiver’s detection bands and should be considered alongside the accuracy of your laser.

Key specifications include:

  • Laser compatibility: green and red line lasers with pulse function.
  • Specified detection range: minimum 50m radius.
  • Fine detection: ±1mm.
  • Coarse detection: ±5mm.
  • Detection sensor range: 125mm.
  • LCD auto-off: 3 minutes.
  • Receiver automatic shut-off: 15 minutes.
  • Protection rating: IP43.
  • Battery requirement: one 9V battery.

Using the Fukuda FD-12GR for Level Transfer

Position your line laser on a stable support and establish the required reference. Enable its pulse function, switch on the Fukuda FD-12GR receiver and select the appropriate accuracy setting. Face the reception window towards the transmitter and move the receiver across the projected line until the display indicates the reference position.

For repeated height checks, start at a known point and keep the transmitter in the same position while moving between measurement locations. This provides a consistent reference for comparing levels or marking installation heights.

The Fukuda FD-12GR laser detector can support layout tasks where a compatible line laser establishes the working reference. Keep the beam path clear so the receiver can detect the signal at each measurement point.

Positioning and Powering the Fukuda FD-12GR

For staff-based checks, attach the Fukuda FD-12GR receiver to a suitable levelling staff using a compatible bracket. Secure the receiver at the required position and keep the staff upright when comparing elevations.

This pulse line laser receiver uses one 9V battery. Separate LCD and receiver shut-off functions help reduce power consumption between readings. Our laser level accessories category includes additional equipment for positioning and supporting your laser setup.
