The Fukuda FRD300 is a universal laser receiver for FRE205 and rotating lasers, with front and rear displays, audible tones and dual ±1mm/±5mm accuracy bands.
Our Fukuda FRD300 laser receiver is a universal laser receiver for the Fukuda FRE205 laser level and other rotating laser transmitters. It helps you locate the beam when it is difficult to see, using front and rear displays with audible tones to indicate the beam position.
Designed as a rotating laser receiver, the Fukuda FRD300 supports straightforward elevation and alignment checks. It provides two accuracy bands for choosing between precise positioning and faster beam detection. Browse our laser level receivers to compare other detection tools for rotating laser work.
The receiver detects rotary laser signals with a minimum detection diameter of 300m, depending on the transmitter and working conditions. Its 44mm detection sensor range helps identify the beam as you move the receiver through the laser plane. The front and rear displays let you read the result from either side, while audible tones provide guidance without requiring you to watch the display continuously.
The Fukuda FRD300 laser receiver has two accuracy bands of ±1mm and ±5mm. Use the tighter band when transferring a precise reference, or select the wider band when acquiring the beam quickly over a larger working area.
Key specifications include:
Set up the rotating laser on a stable surface and allow it to establish the required reference plane. Switch on the receiver and position its detection window towards the laser. Move the receiver vertically when finding a horizontal reference, or sideways when locating a vertical plane. The display and audible tones indicate when you are approaching the beam and help you identify the on-grade position.
With the Fukuda FRD300 laser receiver attached to a suitable staff or rod, you can transfer elevations between points without relying on visual beam visibility alone. Use the ±1mm band for detailed levelling work and ±5mm when you need to locate the signal more quickly. For related equipment, browse our rotary laser levels category.
The receiver is suitable for general grade checking, alignment and setting out with a compatible rotating laser. Check the transmitter and receiver setup before work, particularly when using the receiver with a Fukuda FRE205 laser level.
Secure the Fukuda FRD300 laser receiver to a suitable levelling staff when comparing elevations across a site. Keep the receiver aligned with the staff and use the display from the front or rear as you move between reference points. The receiver can also be held by hand for quick beam-finding or alignment checks.
The IP43 housing is intended for general site use, but keep the receiver within its specified environmental limits and protect it from conditions beyond its rating. Browse our laser level accessories for additional staff and mounting equipment.
