Compact and Powerful, the DG613 combines great performance with productivity. The length of the DG613 has been reduced to make it easier to set up the lasers into tight inverts in the manhole. The DG613 has a grade range from -12% to +40% and is fully self-leveling over the entire grade range. Even the cross axis is fully compensated - providing quick set up and peace of mind that the laser will be level without having to adjust at the bottom of the invert.

Our Spectra Precision DG613 pipe laser helps you establish the direction and gradient of drainage and sewer pipe runs. Its compact housing makes positioning easier in confined manhole inverts, while the red beam provides a reference over distances up to 150m.
We supply the Spectra DG613 pipe laser as part of our pipe lasers range for pipe installation and construction work. It supports operation inside the pipe and above-ground setups using the RC803 remote control.
Spectra Precision DG613 Grade Range and Specifications
The DG613 automatically self-levels throughout its working grade range. Cross-axis compensation corrects sideways tilt during setup, reducing the manual levelling needed when positioning the instrument.
Its key specifications include:

Spectra Precision DG613 Beam Alignment and Remote Control
The RC803 gives you access to the laser’s functions through a graphical interface matching the display on the instrument. It operates by infrared through the pipe at distances up to 150m, or by radio for above-ground setups at distances up to 130m.
Three alignment functions support initial setup and subsequent checks:
- Line Set/Check: tilts the beam upwards to help establish direction towards the next manhole from a short, deep trench. Its movement up to a 100% slope serves this alignment task.
- Line Scan: sweeps the beam left and right so you can stop it at the target’s centre using the remote.
- Line Alert: activates after grade and alignment are set, warning you if the setup is disturbed.
Spectra Precision DG613 Power and Pipe Accessories
Rechargeable NiMH batteries support routine site use. Alkaline batteries can also be fitted directly into the laser without a separate battery pack, and an optional vehicle charger provides another charging option.
The target redirects the beam upwards, helping you view its position from above the pipe. Mounting attachments accommodate pipe diameters from 150mm upwards.
An optional blower circulates air through the pipe to help reduce beam refraction caused by temperature differences. We can advise on mounting attachments, targets and charging accessories for your working conditions.
