Our Spectra Precision DG613G provides a green beam reference for setting line and grade during drainage and sewer pipe installation. Its compact body makes positioning easier in tight manhole inverts, where space for setting up equipment is limited.
Part of our pipe lasers range, the DG613G pipe laser combines automatic self-levelling with remote control and alignment functions to support work between manholes.
Spectra Precision DG613G Grade Control and Specifications
The Spectra DG613G self-levels throughout its −12% to +40% grade range. Automatic cross-axis compensation helps establish the reference without requiring precise manual levelling across the pipe.
Its key specifications include:

The operating range supports longer pipe runs from one setup. The IP68 housing provides protection against dust and water ingress during work in pipes, trenches and manholes.
Spectra Precision DG613G Alignment and RC803 Control
Three functions help you establish and check the direction of the beam:
- Line Set/Check: raises the beam up to a 100% slope for alignment towards the next manhole, including from short, deep trenches. This alignment function is separate from the normal working grade range.
- Line Scan: sweeps the beam left and right, allowing you to stop it at the centre of the target using the remote control.
- Line Alert: warns you if the setup is disturbed after grade and alignment have been established.
The RC803 remote provides control at distances up to 130m by radio for above-ground setups, or up to 150m by infrared through the pipe. Matching graphical interfaces on the laser and remote help you view settings and make adjustments from your working position.
Spectra Precision DG613G Power and Pipe Accessories
Rechargeable NiMH batteries provide power for daily use, while alkaline batteries can be fitted directly without a separate battery pack. An optional vehicle charger offers another charging option when working away from mains power.
The pipe target redirects the beam upwards, making it easier to view from above the pipe. Mounting attachments accommodate pipes from 150mm in diameter upwards.
