Our Spectra HL760 is a digital laser receiver for measuring elevations from rotating laser transmitters. It shows the distance from on-grade numerically, allowing you to record cut, fill, and alignment readings without repeatedly moving the receiver to centre the beam.

This HL760 receiver is suited to general, concrete, site preparation and advanced levelling work. Spectra HL760 Digital Readout and Radio Features

The receiver provides a ±5cm numerical readout from on-grade and a 127mm laser detection height for quick beam acquisition. The numeric readout height is 102mm. An anti-strobe sensor helps reduce false indications from construction lighting, and the front LED shows green on-grade, red high, or blue low.

Selectable deadbands let you match the reading tolerance to the task. Ultra-fine, super-fine, fine, medium, and coarse settings range from 0.5mm to 10mm. The receiver also provides selectable loud, medium, low, or off audio, with an out-of-beam display option to guide you back towards the laser.

Using the Spectra HL760 for Levelling and Remote Monitoring

Turn on the receiver and face its detection window towards the rotating laser. Move it through the beam until the LCD shows the required elevation. The arrows, audio signal, and LED indicators show whether you are high, low, or on-grade, while the digital reading gives the measured distance directly.

The Spectra HL760 includes a fingerprint function that pairs the receiver with a particular laser and filters out strikes from other transmitters. Its two-way radio can link a second HL760 as a remote display and control panel, with communication over distances up to 220m when conditions and orientation allow. This supports wireless monitoring of foundations, steel erections and other site references.

Mounting the HL760 for Site Measurements

Attach a suitable rod clamp to the receiver’s clamp guides and secure it to a levelling staff. The reference bar aligns with on-grade, and the level vial helps keep the rod plumb. The reversible clamp face suits round, oval, rectangular, and square rods, while an offset position moves the on-grade reference to provide more information above grade for staking or excavation.
