Spectra HL760U Digital Readout and Beam Detection

The Spectra HL760U provides a digital readout of ±5cm from on-grade and a 12.7cm reception height for quick beam acquisition. As a laser receiver with digital readout, it shows the elevation difference directly on the LCD. Its anti-strobe sensor helps prevent site lighting from causing false readings, while proportional arrows guide you towards the laser reference.

The receiver accepts red and green beam frequencies and can work with rotating transmitters across a working radius of up to 460m, depending on the laser system. Its IP67 housing is waterproof and dustproof and can withstand a 3m drop onto concrete.

It also provides selectable accuracy and audio settings for different site tolerances. A green LED indicates on-grade, while red and blue indications identify high and low positions.

Using the Spectra HL760U for Levelling and Alignment

Switch on the receiver and aim its reception window towards the rotating laser. Move it up or down through the beam until the display shows the required elevation. The arrows and audible signal indicate the direction of movement, and the digital reading shows how far the receiver is from on-grade.

It can be paired with a compatible Spectra Precision laser that supports the fingerprint function. Once paired, the receiver filters out strikes from other lasers on the site. Radio communication can also link compatible receivers for remote display and monitoring when the setup supports this function.

Mounting the HL760U for Site Measurements

A suitable rod clamp can hold the receiver on a grade rod or wooden staff for elevation checks. The clamp can be positioned in the standard or offset location, allowing the on-grade reference to suit the task. The receiver can also be used by hand when taking a quick alignment or grade reading.
