Our Spectra Precision laser GL720 provides long-range, high-accuracy grade control for general construction, excavation, drainage, concrete preparation and machine-control applications. The Spectra Precision laser GL720 controls slopes on both axes, with a range of ±10% on the X-axis and −0.5% to +25% on the Y-axis. Its 900m operating diameter supports grade checking across large working areas.
We supply the Spectra Precision laser GL720 with an HL700 digital receiver and rechargeable battery system as part of our grade laser levels range. The system is designed for contractors who need reliable grade references over long distances.
Spectra Precision Laser GL720 Dual-Slope Grade Control
The Spectra Precision laser GL720 allows you to enter the required grade through its controls and establish level or sloped references for site work. Its 0.001% grade resolution supports precise adjustments, while automatic self-levelling helps the laser maintain its reference during setup.

GL720 Dual-Slope Laser Level for Site Work
The long-range Spectra Precision laser GL720 is suitable for setting out formation levels, checking drainage falls, preparing concrete surfaces and controlling grades across extensive construction sites. Its protective lens hood and sealed aluminium housing help protect the instrument during outdoor use.
The rechargeable NiMH battery pack provides a practical power option for extended work. The GL700 design includes a battery-life indicator and a sleep mode that can help conserve power during site breaks.
HL700 Receiver and Rechargeable Package
The supplied HL700 receiver displays the distance from on-grade on front and rear LCD screens. Its numeric readout covers ±40mm or ±1.5 inches, allowing you to identify whether the receiver is high or low without repeatedly moving the rod clamp. Multiple display units and proportional arrows help you locate the on-grade position efficiently.
The package includes the GL720 laser, HL700 receiver, rechargeable NiMH batteries, charger, laser card, operating manual and rugged waterproof carrying case. Pair the receiver with a suitable levelling staff when comparing elevations across the site.
